On a cold winter's day in early 1969, I had the pleasure of producing my first horse shoot in the Camargue area of France. The client was Aqua Velva After Shave.

On a cold winter's day in early 1969, I had the pleasure of producing my first horse shoot in the Camargue area of France. The client was Aqua Velva After Shave. The French wranglers did a great job despite the cold, wet conditions.

This shoot produced my all-time favorite image from my 25-year career. I love it so much that when we moved into a new house last year I had a 4' by 8' metal print installed on a wall where it can be seen from the other end of the house.
